So as many of you know on December 23, Raven performed at The Progressive Skating and Gymnastics Spectacular, which is set to air on NBC on Jan. 18. Here's a clip of Raven's performance. You dont really get to see her too often because the main attention was on the ice skaters, it'll be better when it actually airs. But enjoy for what you can, she's performing "What Are You Gonna Do?"

Posted By Marquies on December 18, 2008
Hey everyone, Whats going on. I know its been a while since I updated, but you guys dont realize Raven hasnt been seen, herd, talked about in any form for the past month. She hasnt logged onto her MySpace in over a month, aswell, so there is zero Raven news at the moment. All I can do is update with old things at the current moment, which is what I'll be doing today.
I've added some random tour pictures from different cities. One photo from her hometown Atlanta, and some from her show in Turlock, California. Also I've added some MQ pics from her Teen People Photo Shoot back in 2004!

Also below you can view Raven appearing on the television show "Blue Peter" back from when she was in London a couple of weeks ago (It's hilarious). Thanks to Rossy for sending me the video. Check it out!
So, I know you guys can tell Raven has been M.I.A. recently, the only news I can really report is that she was spoted at a Home Depot earlier today in LA.
Hey what's going on everyone. Since there really isn't any Raven news lately I decided to update some sections from past events this year. I also say sorry to many of you who have been waiting for this, but I finally added an episode of That's So Raven to the Download Center. I know I promised you videos a while ago, but it takes alot of time to rip and edit the videos. But I finally ripped one for you guys. It's Season Four's episode "When There's Smoke" this was shows series finale =/ The episode aired on November 10, 2007. It is really hilarious, man I miss TSR. But anyway If you guys are looking specific episodes to download just leave a comment on the tagboard and I'll see what I can do. Enjoy!
Hey what's going on everyone, As you can see I've updated with a new interview that Raven did while she was in London promoting Tinkerbell. This is an interview that I believe everyone should read because it discusses what's next for Raven. She speaks of reading new scripts and how now she is going to be making more adult films. She also says she has a new album thats due out next year that she will be touring to promote. She also states she hopes to come to London to promote her next album as well. Me personally, I am very excited about this next faze in Raven's career. You can read that article below.
So anyway as you know yesterday Raven appeared on The Bonnie Hunt Show. She was there to promote her website and DVD, Raven-Symoné Presents. She even did a cool scrap booking segment on the show. You can watch the YouTube of the show below. Hopefully soon I'll have it up for you guys to download because I did get a chance to record it! Check It Out!
Raven-Symoné tells Maxine Myers about managing her money and smelling Barack Obama
US ACTRESS star Raven-Symoné looks upbeat and enthusiastic, with her feet up on the couch. It’s hard to tell that she is suffering from jetlag and a lack of sleep.
“Oh you just suck it up,” she laughed.
Ever the consummate professional, Symone’s whistle-stop three-day tour of London was to promote the new Disney DVD, Tinker Bell. The film tells the story of the early life of the fairy Tinker Bell– one of Disney’s most beloved animated characters– and opens the doors to the world of Pixie Hollow; a secret hideaway deep in the heart of Never Land, where the Disney Fairies make their home. (For those of you with little ones, the DVD might just make a nice Christmas present!)
The DVD boasts impressive talents, with voices provided by Ugly Betty actress America Ferrera, and Charlie’s Angels star Lucy Liu. Symoné provides the voice of a fairy named Iridessa and she thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
“I loved it,” she said excitedly. “It was a lot of fun.”
Of course, this isn’t Symoné’s first time working with the Disney franchise. The 22-year old has been a long time Disney starlet having provided a voice in the animated series Kim Possible, as well as featuring in The Cheetah Girls and starring in her own popular series, That’s So Raven, where she also served as executive producer.
However, as an adult, she is now ready to venture out of her Disney bubble and be seen for other projects...

I'm not exactly sure of the location but check it out. Also one more important announcement
If you are of age please make sure that you go out and vote tommorow ;)
GLENDALE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--When Willy Wonka calls, teens nationwide listen—and sing! Today, Wonka revealed the winner of Loss for Lyrics, a national contest and song search launched in July, 2008 to help the Oompa Loompas sing about new Giant Chewy NERDS. Akeem Denny, 15, of Columbus, OH, came to the rescue, winning the contest, with the most creative song, embodying the wondrous spirit of Willy Wonka and his latest candy creation...
Denny, a member of Kids on Broadway and frequent participant in school plays, entered the Wonka Loss for Lyrics contest for the opportunity to record with his idol, Raven-Symoné, and to experience the entertainment business, his life-long dream.
“I screamed for hours when I found out I won,” said Denny, an honor-roll student and volunteer at Columbus-based nursing home. “I am Raven-Symoné’s biggest fan ever and I have been dying for a chance to meet her. I’m just so grateful for everyone behind Wonka’s Loss for Lyrics contest for helping me reach my dreams..."
As the grand-prize winner, Denny will join actress/musician Raven-Symoné for a professional recording session at LA Studios, frequented by other recording artists including Justin Timberlake, Cameron Diaz and Avril Lavigne. Raven-Symoné is one of Hollywood’s most talented young performers. She was most recently seen starring in “College Road Trip” opposite Martin Lawrence, and released her fourth solo album earlier this year. Raven-Symoné also created a lifestyle DVD based on her Website ravensymonepresents.com and is most well known for her Emmy-nominated comedy series “That’s So Raven” on the Disney Channel.
“Akeem Denny has a sound all his own and I’m excited to help him record Wonka’s official Giant Chewy NERDS song,” Raven-Symoné said. “His confidence, talent, and fun lyric choices proved the right recipe to help the Oompa Loompa’s sing about new Giant Chewy NERDS...”
Hey whats up everyone, For you who still don't know Raven now has an official MySpace and she has uploaded three new songs to her music player. One being "Thick Girls, Big Girls" which you may remember from her tour this past summer. She also uploaded new tracks titled "Secrets" and "Next" I'm going to rip them for you guys soon. But for now you can listen to them on Raven's MySpace. Also make sure you head over to Raven-Symone Presents where there is a new video uploaded for everyone, in the spirit of Halloween =]
Apart from Raven's concert tour this past summer, she also took part in the Disney Music Block Party Concert Tour. I've added the only set possibly released from the tour. Check them out, Enjoy!
What It Is Everyone, I know I haven’t updated in a minute I been really sick. It truly does suck. But anyway, I wanna thank you all for commenting on the tag board and supporting the site. Were actually on the first page of Google and the top of the second page on Yahoo (when you type in Raven-Symoné.) And I truly wanna thank you all for continuously visiting. I'm gonna try to get down to this hole viewing complications that some of you have been experiencing and I promise that I will try to fix that ASAP.
So last night Raven attended the premiere of her new animated film "Tinker Bell" in Los Angles, California. Raven looked very nice in her green attire. Don't forget Tinker Bell will be released October 28 on DVD & Blu-Ray. Also I've added more pictures from "Divas Simply Singing" These looked more like the performance part of the show. (Rockin' the hoody Rae, Get It) Where I'm sure, she stole the show with "Girl, Get It." Actually I read a blog of someone who attended the show and they said that Raven was the highlight of the night. So most defiantly check out these new pictures.
A popular Disney TV star was in Fayetteville on Friday stumping for Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama.
Raven Symone — best known for her Disney TV show “That’s So Raven” and her stint as Olivia on “The Cosby Show” — has been attending events throughout the month to talk about Obama.
“I really believe in him. I believe he’ll be a wonderful president,” Symone said while signing autographs in the picnic area of the Arthur D. Smith Recreation Center. “I think that everybody, celebrity or not, knows that this is a crucial time in our country and that it’s history in the making. We all want to be a part of that.”
Friday’s event was organized by the local Sandhills Grassroots For Obama.
With less than three weeks to go until the election and many undecided voters up for grabs, Symone’s arrival couldn’t have come at a better time, said John McNeil, organizer of the local Sandhills campaign.
Last night, Raven attended the 18th Annual Divas Simply Singing Charity Event in
Beverly Hills, CA. Raven also performed "Girl, Get It" that night
but unfortunitly this event will not be televised =[ Raven looked amazing though. I've added 6 MQ photos from
last nights event. Check em' out =]
As many of you know by now Ms. Raven-Symoné has launched her first OFFICIAL MYSPACE.
This MySpace is welcomed to all her supporters and she's very excited about speaking
to some of her fans. As stated on another site please don't bombard Raven will messages.
Please be respectful. And use this opportunity wisely!

This October, stars of song and the screen including Patti LaBelle, Angie Stone and
Raven-Symone, will take the stage for a night of music to benefit Women Alive Coalition
and more.
Sheryl Lee Ralph hosts the 18th annual Divas Simply Singing, an event she created
along with the DIVA Foundation in 1990 to honor loved ones she'd lost to HIV/AIDS.
The "divas" involved in the show will each sing one song, accompanied by only a grand
piano and all the proceeds will benefit men, women and children infected and affected
by HIV/AIDS. The show takes place on October 11 in Los Angeles –

Raven-Symoné to appear on A Tribute to Patti LaBelle
UNCF -- the United Negro College Fund -- finalized its lineup of presenters and performers scheduled to appear on its 30th anniversary annual television special, "An Evening of Stars Tribute to Patti LaBelle." Super Station WGN's Merri Dee, Vivica A. Fox, "Entertainment Tonight" correspondent Kevin Frazier, Tom Joyner, BET Chairman and CEO Debra Lee, LisaRaye McCoy, Duane Martin, Mo'Nique, Shemar Moore, Holly Robinson Peete, "Access Hollywood's" Shaun Robinson, Dr. Ian Smith of VH1's "Celebrity Fit Club," Raven-Symoné and Essence Cares founder Susan Taylor are among those slated to appear when the annual UNCF celebration of educational excellence is taped Sept. 13 at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood. The show will air in January as a syndicated fund-raiser.
UNCF also announced that Mario and Big Daddy Kane will join fellow performers Yolanda Adams, Anita Baker, Wayne Brady, Fantasia, Jennifer Hudson, Brian McKnight and Dionne Warwick for its salute to LaBelle. Beyoncé, Wyclef Jean and Mariah Carey will make taped appearances.
What it is everyone....Yes I know its been a minute since I updated, news has been absolutely
DEAD lately. Plus I’m prepping for school you know. But I most defiantly have not given
up or forgotten about the site. I've added a couple additions to the gallery, not much
because I don’t like adding a lot of old things to the gallery, and call it new but I really want to do a HUGE gallery update when the site switches layouts. Which
hopefully will be sometime this month. I have allot of things planned and hope to grow
and expand the site. In other news, I wont officially post anything on these rumors because I don’t know how much truth there is to them. But word is Raven’s to star in 2 films in the coming 2009 and 2010. One being Little Fockers the next film in the Meet The Fockers franchise. And another rumor is that the previously scrapped Further Adventures In Baby-Sitting (co-starring Miley Cyrus) has been rehashed and is to be filmed in 2010. Now both of these films are rumors and cannot be proven
but just so you know. Anyway, check out the updates and I hope to talk to you guys soon!
Also, apparently all of my image accounts want to die around the same time. If anyone is willing to donate and or sell any image accounts to me, it will be highly appreciated! You can contact me by emailing at ravendaily@yahoo.com, Thanks!
One More Thing, I wanna Thank Elaine over at IHeartLilo.Com for awarding Raven Daily

What up everyone. Not much is going on with Rae
except as you know she's on tour. So I've added some fan photos from her concert the
other night in Wichita, Kansas. I wanna Thank Trevor for these great photos.
Also I found some other footage from her concert the other day in Arlington, Texas,
which looked sold-out. So check that out as well. Alrite catch up with ya'll later!
What it is (I swear that's gonna be my phrase of this entire
school year) everyone. Last night continued her tour in
Wichita, Kansas @ The Century II Concert Hall. I herd the show
was sold-out. Congrats Rae! But anyway I've added a review that
you can read below (It sucked), and I have some video from last nights concert.

to Court Court for those!
Raven-Symone gives Wichita fans what they came for in concert
Waiting for star Raven Symone to take the stage, 14-year-old Kelsey Lenoch made a confession.
"I don't really listen to her music," Lenoch said.
That, however, was no damper on her enthusiasm for the evening.
"I like her show, though, and she used to be one of my favorite Disney people."
There may be a reason that Lenoch and other Symone fans aren't actually familiar with her music: weak lyrics and thin tunes make the songs fairly forgettable. Yet, Symone, former star of "The Cosby Show" and "That's So Raven," can pack a house. Having grown up in the entertainment industry, the 22-year-old Disney veteran knows her demographic of young girls who would rather scream than cheer and is a master at connecting with it.
From her grand opening, Symone matched the high energy in the room, entering with an ear-splitting, "What's going on?!" She maintained that energy through her hour-long set of songs ranging from "Typical," "Jump In" and "Get It Girl" to a rendition of Stevie Wonder's "Superstition."
What it is everyone, Yeah I know I haven’t updated in forever. Sorry, but Raven hasn’t
been doing much anyways, but hopefully I’ll have some new concert footage for you tomorrow
because Raven continues her tour tonight, She plays the Time Warner Cable Music Mill
Amphitheatre in Arlington, Texas. In other news Raven will host to the 2008 Freedom
Awards which will take place on October 28. It is not televised but they’ll most
likely be photos from the event. So anyway since news has been dead, I’ve added
aton of old videos and pictures Enjoy!
Now that she's left Hollywood Records, singer/actress Raven-Symone is looking forward to being an independent artist for her next album.
"I did it on my second album [1999's "Undeniable"] and like it," the 22-year-old former "Cosby Show" kid tells Billboard.com. "When you're an independent you really do get full control. You get to do it how you want to do it and promote it how I want to promote it and sell it how I want to sell it."
Symone says she has nothing bad to say about Hollywood, her home for two albums, but she was disappointed in weak sales for this year's "Raven-Symone," which bowed at No. 159 on the Billboard 200. "No one really dropped the ball," she says. "I just think it didn't get enough publicity so people would know it's coming out."
Symone already has ideas in her head about what she wants to do with her next release. "It'll be R&B, most definitely," she says, "with an alternative base for the lyrics."
She's also eyeballing collaborators, though after working with such big names as Sean Garrett, the Clutch and the J.A.M., Symone is hoping to find some fresh talent as well.
"It's good to go out there and spread your wings and find new talent and work with people you haven't worked with before. I'd love to find the next Pharrell or the next someone who's coming up and no one really knows yet," she says. "At the same time, I'd love to work with the Clutch and the J.A.M. again."

RS Live Tour Coverage + Tweens go wild for 'TSR' star
Hey everyone, I'm sorry I havent updated in a while unfortunitly I'm getting ready to go back to school.
But anyway the tour continues and Raven is doing her thing. I read that the other day one of Raven's concert
broke attendance records for one of her performances venues. Below are some videos from the past week and a
review of her concert.
MIDLAND - Hundreds of Disney crazed tweens went hoarse Monday night after almost two hours of screaming for the star they'd been waiting weeks or months to see: Raven Symone.
"Are... you... ready?" called a booming voice from backstage, and the replies of "YEAH!" shook the stage and broke the eardrums of parents dutifully taking their kids to the concert as Raven finally emerged from the assortment of tents and trucks backstage. The theme song to Raven's Disney Channel TV show, "That's So Raven," pounded through the speakers as the 22 year old singer, actor and producer came out on stage, greeting an ecstatic crowd of mostly young girls and their parents.
Brightly colored signs were scattered through the audience, declaring everything from "I love Raven," to "Oh snap," her catch phrase from her show. One girl held up a sign declaring it was her eighth birthday, and Raven sang "Happy Birthday" to her and the others with birthdays in the audience.
"We're going to sing 'Happy Birthday' together, like a big family," she said, and the crowd joined in singing, "Happy Birthday dear ya'll."
Eight-year-old Lane and her friend and siblings held up five signs with letters spelling out "R-A-V-E-N." She said she got the idea from watching video of a Jonas Brothers concert. Her parents surprised her and the others with the Raven tickets, and she said she was screaming when she found out.
Back in March 2008, Instead of attending the Kids Choice Aawards, Raven decided to go to Florida and take part of
Wrestlemania
where she made some kids dream come true, apart of her work with the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Big Up's to Rae for always
taking time away from her busy schedule for things like this ;) This video is rare to find and I wanna thank jeremycanrana
for uploading this. Enjoy!
Last night Raven continued her tour, stopping by the Lone Star Lil’s Amphitheatre in
San Antonio, Texas. Looks as if Raven has changed her wordrope for tour and
traded in her usual tutu costume for something else. Either way Raven looked great
and here is some footage from last night's concert!
8/07 - San Antonio, Texas - That Girl (Rae Gettin' It)

KEARNEY — Sporting her trademark eye shade, Raven-Symoné danced and sang her way into the hearts of more than 2,000 Kearney-area fans Tuesday night in concert at the FirsTier Event Center.
The event was part of the Buffalo County Fair.
The performer apologized for missing the original concert date. Bad weather in Chicago caused the cancellation of flights to Omaha. Raven spent 17 hours in the VIP lounge instead of flying to Nebraska. By the time she took the stage Tuesday, the crowd was chanting her name. She sang and danced through a set of music from her CD, “Raven-Symoné,” and from other Disney projects.
In the middle of the show, Raven stopped to ask if anyone in the audience was having a birthday. She invited everyone to sing along with her on a version “Happy Birthday.”
“Let’s sing ‘Happy Birthday, ya’ll’, since I’m from Atlanta,” she said.
Raven also had another suggestion for her audience.
“If someone bought a ticket for you or drove you to the concert,” she said, “why don’t you take a moment and say ‘thank you’ to them.”
The next sound was that of more than a thousand young voices saying thank you.
Hey, everyone last night, The Raven-Symone Live Tour made it's stop in Raven's hometown Atlanta, Georgia. I found some
footage from the concert. I can deffinatly tell that she put EXTRA energy in to this concert, because it was her
homestate. She really did her thing on these videos and made me view her as a great entertainer. I'm really loving
the long hair on her, wish she had it like that at my concert. Check It Out!
Credit to jm45d for this great footage.
Hey, whats going on everyone. Last night Raven had a concert in Turlock, California.
I hear it was sold-out, and there was no where to sit. It looked great! Well I have some
pictures from last nights concert, a review, and a HQ video shot by the organizers of
the event. Chech Em' Out!
It was good to be tween at the Stanislaus County Fair on Thursday night.
A standing-room only crowd bulged out of the aisles at the Variety Free Stage to see former Cosby kid and Disney star Raven-Symone perform. The show, scheduled for Kids' Free Night, was the fair's first headline concert aimed at a teen-and-younger audience.
"I see you've been practicing your high-pitched screams to bring the dogs in," Raven said to the capacity crowd of more than 3,500, largely young girls and their parents.
The 22-year-old singer and actress was the star of the Disney Channel's "That's So Raven" for four seasons until the show ended last year. She also was a member of the platinum-
selling all-girls group The Cheetah Girls.
Fans started arriving at 8 a.m. to see the 8:30 p.m. concert. They came with homemade signs, glow sticks and cameras. But the night's best accessory was a tall dad on whose shoulders a daughter could get the best seat in the house.
Raven just did an interview with Teenmag.com and she stated, shes going back into the studio
in Late 2009, and will have a new album out by Late 2010 / 2011. This will be Raven's
first album since she has left Disney's Hollywood Records.
Teenmag: Any big projects coming up in the future? Not like you have any free time!
Raven: I’m gonna start getting into the studio late next year. Maybe by 2010, I’ll have another album out.
Teenmag: What musical style will the next album follow?
Raven: My last four albums had four totally different sounds. So in 2009, I’m gonna sit in the studio and really solidify what I’m going to do and what I am going to be as an adult. I’m gonna take next year to really do that. So who knows. I’m growing as a person, so everything around me is changing.
On Saturday I attended the Raven-Symoné: Live in Concert Tour when it made its stop at the Wildwood Convention Center in Wildwood, NJ. The concert was phenomenal Raven did an amazing job, as well as Mitchel Musso and Drew Seeley. The concert started at three. Raven was actually 2hrs late but I didn’t even notice, but she was stuck in traffic. I had 6th Row Dead Center and as soon as she came out I stood up with my RS CD, and she noticed me on many occasions. She pointed at me, smiled at me, and waved to me a lot during the concert because I was the only one in the audience with her CD. She even made a reference to me. Once she finished her first set of songs she said "You guys probably don’t know the first set of songs, but there from my new album Raven-Symoné", and then I put the CD in the air and she said "Except for him because he’s the only one in the audience that has it." She was really cool to me! and although I didnt get to meet her, I truly do appreciate her for showing me so much love in the audience. In the "In Your Skin" Video she points at me around 0:25 and my video goes off a little bit because I started pointing back and vibing with her. But the show was amazing. I didn’t get to many pictures because my camera was acting soooo retarded. I’m sorry guys but I did get some nice video and pictures! from what I could.

WILDWOOD - "We're about to have a show today. You ready?" Raven-Symone asked the crowd as she walked on stage. The fans, tweens, teens and their parents, shrieked their approval. They'd been holding up posters and wearing T-shirts with Raven's face on them for 2 hours.
The singer-actress was late to Saturday's Radio Disney concert at the Wildwoods Convention Center after getting stuck in traffic - but her opening acts stalled and played longer sets, and Raven delivered an hour of singing, dancing and yelling that kept her fans, young and old, pumped.
She opened with pop-R&B songs from her 2008 self-titled album, her most mature work. She tackled a soured relationship in "Love Me or Leave Me," then moved to the female anthem "Girl Get It," in which she sings, "There is one thing that you never let 'em see/And that's your tears/That's a sign of the weak."
About halfway through her set, she focused on her old staples: songs from movie and Disney soundtracks, such as "Some Call it Magic" and Stevie Wonder's "Superstition." She closed with her cover of the Frankie Smith funk song "Double Dutch Bus," wrapping up 3 hours of kid-friendly fun....
But then 22-year-old Raven-Symone arrived in her tutu and sleeping mask (she also wears one on her album cover). Raven has the star power to hold the audience's attention by just talking to them, so between lyrics she waves and says hello to her fans. Teenagers idolize Raven, who stays out of the tabloids and is proud of her body. She addressed body image during the concert.
"You gotta be healthy and fabulous," she said. "A little thickness never hurt anybody."
During a question-and-answer session, an 11-year-old fan asked Raven-Symone about her idols. "Janet Jackson. ... Love her!" she says. Aside from public-image gaffes on Jackson's part, the two have a lot in common. Both grew up in the spotlight, starting their performing careers on the small screen.
Jackson's first two solo albums weren't very successful, but she broke free and grew up with her independence concept album, 1986's "Control."
One can't help but think
that Raven-Symone's "Control" moment is approaching, but she's not letting it happen too fast.

Forget Hannah Montana or the Carly from iCarly.
Tonight Six Flags New England in Agawam will welcome TV teen sensation Raven-Symoné who played Raven Baxter for some four seasons on Disney Channel's "That's So Raven" about a teenage girl who periodically received brief psychic visions of the near future.
Cover story The young starlet, now 22, will perform on the Grove stage as part of the STARBURST Thursday Night Concert Series, presented by got2B.
Her tour, which runs through October, supports the release of her fourth and final compact disc for Disney's Hollywood Records. Featuring some of R&B/hip-hop's hottest producers who have worked with Fergie, Beyonce, Leona Lewis, Keri Hilson/Timbaland and Ciara, the self-titled album features emotional ballads to banging hip-hop/R&B.
Another day, another city. As you know Raven is currently on tour, and here are some video from this past week concerts. There
even is a clip of a new song from Raven rumored to be titled "Life of The Party" that song is hot, it should have deffinatly
made the album. But check them out! I'm so excited because I am 4 Days away from the Rae concert, I'm so stoked! ;)
Hey everyone, I finally found the Raven-Symone Presents DVD
And I have to say its pretty cool. The DVD has over 90 minutes
of footage, majority of which are new things. I really like
seeing this side of Rae, the real Raven-Symone. But she look
absolutly beautiful during this entire DVD, and its a very good
watch. I've added the DVD Scans to the gallery aswell as a load
of Screen Caps from the DVD (Kinda went over bored with the Caps
;))
Wednesday night Raven hit up BPM Magazine’s 12th Anniversary Party
I've added 7 MQ pics from the event. Some are not the best quality
and I will try to find more in better quality. But she looked wonderful
as always ;)
She's the face of a multi-million dollar franchise which includes a hit television show, platinum albums and coast-to-coast touring.
At 22 she's added producer to her repertoire and continues to make marks with tween audiences everywhere.
If you have kids, chances are you've heard all about the former star of both That's So Raven and The Cheetah Girls. If not, just know that the pint-sized girl from The Cosby Show is all grown up.
Festiva got the chance to speak with Raven-Symone via cell phone a day before she embarked on a grueling press tour for her latest movie College Road Trip which she produced and starred alongside with funnyman Martin Lawrence released this week. The singer/actress/producer talked about her new self-titled album, what it's like living in Hollyweird and dealing with the constant scrutiny over body image and staying out of the tabloids.
Let's talk about your new album...How do you prepare for the studio or to lay down your tracks?
First of all I get me some peppermint tea and a Riccola and sit down with the writer and producer. We talk on the phone before about what they want to do with the album. They create the track and the writer and I talk. On other albums I did co-write but this album I didn't write, but definitely gave my input. And then lay the tracks in two days.
You've worked with some hot shot producers (Sean Garrett - Fergie, Beyonce and The Clutch - Timbaland, Ciara) who have worked with anyone who's anyone. How do you tell them that you're not really into something?
Just be honest. And say that's not who I really am. These people who work with such different personalities they have to know who you are before they walk into the room. And I think that has made them so successful, they know how to work with different people.
The Raven Symone’ produced, College Road Trip, now on DVD
*“I love to produce. I produced College Road Trip, The Cheetah Girls and That’s So Raven,” said child star turned adult star, Raven Symone’, about her production experiences. “It takes a lot of planning and work.
The Walt Disney/Gunn Film, College Road Trip, is now on DVD. It includes alternate opening and ending; deleted scenes; “Double Dutch Bus” music video performed by Symone’; a Raven Symone’ video diary, and two commentaries by Director Roger Kumble, and writers Emi Mochizuki and Carrie Evans.
Raven said she had wanted to do a project with Walt Disney and when they presented this script, she made it happen.
“I was hoping that parent-daughter relationship came through the camera,” Raven said about working with comedian/actor Martin Lawrence. “I am a fan of Martin and I didn’t want that to show on camera, but when the camera was off; I was so excited …asking him questions.”
Hey everyone College Road Trip as well as Raven-Symoné Present's DVD are
both in stores Now! I went and got a copy of the DVD myself today, and
like most people, I also had trouble finding the RSP DVD, but I’m sure it will
turn up eventually. I've added 3 HQ Scans from the CRT DVD. Enjoy!
and make sure you pick up a copy!

Last night Raven-Symoné kicked off her Raven-Symoné Live Tour in Wilmot, Wisconsin at the Kenosha County Fairgrounds.
The first review is in aswell as the first photo, if you attended this show please feel free to submit videos, concert experiences, or
images to the website, by EMAILING ME here.
WILMOT - Just as the sun began to set on the crowd at Ultimate Kids Fest, Raven-Symoné lit up the stage herself.
As the actress, producer and musician performed about a 20-song concert, kids screamed, danced and had an all-around good time.
While adults may know her as Olivia from "The Cosby Show," youngsters also know her from her albums and from her Disney Channel television show "That's So Raven." The musician, who also has plans to go into crafting and cooking as well as show business, drew a crowd of about 1,500 in the VIP seating and another 1,500 in the grandstands.
And they couldn't be more excited to see her.
"I love her," said 16-year-old Lala Woodley of Milwaukee. "She's great. She's the reason we came on this trip."
Raven-Symoné came onstage around 8:20 p.m. to ear-piercing screams, a standing ovation and lots of happy faces.
She kicked off the concert with "That's So Raven" before moving into "Got It Girl."
The singer dressed in black and white with a black tutu got some assistance from her four backup dancers - two males and two females.....
Hey everyone, Today is the big day! The Raven-Symoné Live Tour kicks off tonight! We have been waiting awhile for this tour and it's finally here. The tour will kick off today at the Kenosha County Fair Grounds in Wilmot, Wisconsin. Raven-Symoné will headline the tour with special guest Jordan Pruitt opening for her today. The 21-city tour will run from July 12 - October 7. For all dates please visit HERE
If you, or someone you know is attending the concert tour, Please EMAIL ME your experiences, tour photos, videos, and anything else you’d like to submit. You will be given complete credit. I hope ya’ll enjoy it and have a good time!
P.S. I've been begging for someone to take me to the show tommorow in NJ, but its not looking good, wish me luck. But if I dont go its okay because I'm still going to the concert later this month, so stay tuned for that!
Somewhere out there is a segment of the public who has never heard of Raven-Symone - that segment does not have children.
As a child star on the Cosby Show, the now-22-year-old woman appears in the Disney franchises That's So Raven and Cheetah Girls, along with her own singing career.
As an actress and a person she stresses respect, especially self-respect, which is why you don't see her in the clubs or in the tabloids. Her new self-titled album shows a large range of musical influences and direction.
She long ago left her hometown of Atlanta for Los Angeles: Atlanta "is a great place for family and music, but it's easier to get to the auditions out here," she told Rocky pop music writer Mark Brown in a recent phone interview.
Your album cover is striking, just a close-up of your eyes. How much do you control your presentation?
I do love striking things. When I decorated my house it's just vibrant, vibrant colors. Something to look at everywhere. I think that's one of the things that will bring people to buy your things - if it's aesthetically pleasing as well as ear-pleasing.
Raven-Symone recently hit the 20-year mark as an entertainer. Most performers who reach that milestone are at the mid-life crisis point. Not Raven-Symone. She's just 22.
The charismatic actress-vocalist-producer has been a hot entertainment commodity since she was an infant. At age 2, she had a contract with the Ford modeling agency. At age 4, she was cast as Olivia for "The Cosby Show." During the '90s, she was featured in the ABC sitcom "Hangin' With Mr. Cooper."
Raven-Symone also was the star of Disney's highest rated and longest running series, "That's So Raven," which premiered in 2003 and concluded in 2007. In addition, Symone starred in the popular Disney films "The Cheetah Girls" and "Cheetah Girls 2."
Then there's Raven-Symone's career as a recording artist.
"I've always been so busy," Symone said. "This is just normal for me. I'm always doing something."
At the moment, Raven-Symone is touring behind her fourth album, a self-titled effort full of energetic, upbeat dance-pop songs......

Due to the tornados at the Expo Center at the Buffalo County Fair in Kearny, Nebraska
The Raven-Symone concert has been moved from the Expo Center to the FirstTier Event Center.
Raven-Symoné is as chipper as her alter-ego, the wacky, offbeat teen on Disney's hit show "That's So Raven," even though she's conducting a telephone interview in the middle of her daily exercise workout.
"I'm walking," she pants, between breathless giggles, "and people around me are making me laugh."
Raven was just a baby when the Ford Modeling Agency signed her to a contract. And who can forget her portrayal of chubby-cheeked Huxtable granddaughter Olivia Kendall on "The Cosby Show." Now 22, she's managed to navigate the fickle tides of Hollywood while building a solid fan base by spreading her message of self-esteem, body acceptance and empowerment to young women in Every City, USA.
Keeping her act clean has paid off for the blossoming media mogul. The Raven brand is valued at $400 million, since "That's So Raven" ruled the Disney Channel for four seasons (the network still airs the reruns) and spawned merchandise deals for everything from perfumes and clothing. Earlier this year, Raven played bubbly high school senior Melanie Porter in "College Road Trip" with Martin Lawrence and executive-produced the flick. And last August, she took a page from the Martha Stewart playbook when she decided to launch ravensymonepresents.com, her interactive 'tween-friendly lifestyle Web site with videos and do-it-yourself crafting tips.
As if the hefty paychecks and all-around success aren't enough, she found time to cut a fourth studio album titled - what else? - "Raven-Symoné," released late last month. (A pajama party-themed tour was scheduled to play the Liacouras Center on May 27, but it was postponed.)
On the CD, fans will find the former Cosby kid serving up a heaping portion of her trademark effervescence alongside a slice or two of attitude, all of which she insists is completely authentic Raven. "I'm just trying to be me and if you like that, I love you. If you don't, I'm sorry."
Q. People might not know, but you're no stranger to the recording studio. What was different about working on this latest album?
A. I didn't write. I worked with A-list producers. Not that I didn't work with A-list producers last time, but more on the R&B side this time. I have kind of a new voice on this one.
I think the songs are a little bit more grown up and talking about some relationship situations, which I really don't like talking about. But the people I'm working with were like, "That situation in your life needs to be talked about." I'm like, "No, no it's personal!"
